I.T. leaders at colleges and universities need to be both master communicators and visionaries, team builders and persuaders, coaches and ambassadors -- and much more, according to Educause and Jisc, two higher education I.T. organizations that on Thursday presented a model for effective I.T. leadership. The two organizations partnered last year to define the skills required of chief information officers in the future, and published a report of their findings on Thursday.
